Well, Spring is not here yet but it's just over the bend in the road ahead.

Speaking of roads - my thoughts are often travelling familiar paths these days...tripping down through my memories of the years that have gone by (oh so quickly).

My grandson just turned 18 and it seems impossible - only yesterday I was teaching him to swim in our backyard pool.

It WAS yesterday - he and his younger brother were still wearing those floaty things on their arms.

Then they wanted to swim on their own and over the course of a long weeked we went from floaties to swimming laps.

Many laps later he is all grown up and getting ready for college.

Don't you wish you could stop the clock sometimes so you can trully cherish and relish the moments that give us such delightful memories?

For me, (and I am eternally grateful), visual stimulation in the form of photographs can flood my consciousness with the smells, the tastes, the breezes, and the sounds of past memories, all as if I were actually experiencing the particular memory all over again.

Memories are waiting - I need MORE MEMORIES - How about you?
